Kalamies Beach Restaurant has a history of flavors for over 40 years. The restaurant was established in 1976 and is situated in a fantastic landscape in Protaras, right on the golden sand of the Pernera area and has been popular with seafood lovers since when we first opened;
42 years later, we still warmly welcome guests with traditional Cypriot hospitality and truly excellent food.
Enjoy your meal in a lovely atmosphere; cooled by the onshore breeze, with a beautiful view over the Mediterranean by day and the inky black starry sky and the lights of fishing boats on the horizon by night, with the tables lit by candles.
The restaurant overlooks a beautiful bay fringed by golden sand, with the small domed white chapel of Ayios Nikolaos standing on the cliff top.
Set in a beautiful area dressed in white and with the blue colour of the sea stretching out before you, we offer you a unique journey in taste with our fresh fish and seafood delicacies, as with excellent choices in grilled dishes and snacks, in meat dishes prepared with care and the best fresh ingredients.
At the end of 2016, when the restaurant celebrated its 40 years anniversary, Kalamies Beach Restaurant received its first Time Out Eating Award for the category "Best Fish".
